ABOUT
Revive Church Plumas Lake
At Revive Church Plumas Lake, our heart is to help people encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and find true family in Him. Our desire is to be a place where everyone is welcomed, known, and loved. Together, we’re building a Christ-centered family that serves our neighbors, experiences God’s presence, and shares His love with Plumas Lake and beyond.
Find family. Experience Jesus. Share His love.
Revive Church of the Nazarene was planted by Hope Point Church in Yuba City on May 28, 2023. Hope Point has been in the Yuba/Sutter area for almost 100 years and previously helped launch Hope Point Live Oak. Pastor Doug Smith from Hope Point, along with Pastor Colby, started to pray and dream about launching a church in Plumas Lake in 2022, with hopes of bringing the love of Christ to the area. Together, they recognized that Plumas Lake was a growing community without a local church and felt called to be a part of the growing community. They recognized that many of the residents in the area had to travel a good distance to be part of a church community. Through prayer, investigation, and doors opening, they knew that God had a plan.
After God called Pastor Colby’s family to move out of state in early 2025, He had been preparing Pastor Byron Fisk to be available and ready to respond to the call to Revive Church. Pastor Byron has been in ministry for 15+ years and has a huge heart for God, his family, and community. He joined Revive in July 2025 and looks forward to an amazing new season for him and his family.
Revive Church continues to meet at Riverside Meadows Intermediate School in Plumas Lake. They currently have Sunday programs for children, infants through 5th grade, as well as youth group (grades 6-12) on Sundays at 5 pm. Revive Church loves to partner with the community through events, ministry, and outreach opportunities. Revive Church is part of the Nazarene denomination, which is the largest Wesleyan-holiness denomination in the world. Our core beliefs and values are summarized as being Christian, being holy, and being missional.
Everyone is welcome and we are a church for all ages.
Meet the Team
-
We have service every Sunday at 11 am at Riverside Meadows School in the gymnasium.
-
Yes! We pride ourselves on being a church for all ages. We offer Sunday School for infants through fifth grade, as well as activities for children to learn and enjoy during service.
-
Pray! The Lord loves to hear from His people. Pray that the church is the presence of Jesus in the Plumas Lake community.
Serve! There are many teams to join at Revive. Since we are currently occupying the Riverside Meadows gym, we can always use help before and after service to setup and tear down. We start setting up as early as 8 am, but you can always help tear down after service.
-
The best place to start is to show up on Sunday and come meet Pastor Byron.
We also have a welcome table where you can get information about the church and share your contact information, if you would like. We would love to connect with you.
